The Commonwealth of Kentucky requires students to receive instruction a minimum of 177 days per year.  ICAA and SACS Accreditation require Somerset Christian School to complete at least as many days as are required by state law.  This calendar meets all state and accreditation requirements and includes a total of 187 days:  177 instructional days, 6 professional development days, and 4 holidays.
