History

Mission Statement:

     Students will be allowed to experience success without the fear of failure.  A student’s successes and failures will be celebrated.  Along with an education, a student needs strong morals, which will be fostered throughout the year during the learning process.

Mr. McGuire has been teaching for 3 years, all of which have been with Somerset Christian School.  He has been a large asset to our school and has a great personality for middle school education.

Mr. McGuire attended Eastern Kentucky University and has a Bachelors Degree in Middle Grade Education, Social Science and English/Communications.

Mr. McGuire is actively involved in the Student YMCA Program.  He is the leader for the Kentucky Youth Assembly and Kentucky United Nations Assembly groups for middle school and high school ages.  He also organized and led a group of 25 on a trip to Washington D.C. over Spring break.

Mr. Mcguires favorite scripture is Psalm 94:18   When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
