Denise Phipps

1^st Grade

Mission Statement:

     “Always strive for excellence”

Mrs. Phipps has been teaching for 13 years, all of which have been with Somerset Christian School.  She is a fantastic teacher for the 1^st grade age level and is extremely committed to excellence in her students.  She has a great imagination and makes learning fun.

Mrs. Phipps Attended Eastern Kentucky University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree.  She is a member of the drama department and the praise team at her church. 

Mrs. Phipps favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11   For I know

the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,

thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
