Thank you for your interest in Somerset Christian School.  Somerset Christian School offers a distinctively Christian approach to education in a traditional classroom setting.  Enrollment applications are available for preschool through twelfth grade.

Somerset Christian School exists to serve the Christian community by helping parents to fulfill their Biblical responsibility to teach their children in the way that they should go (Deuteronomy 6, Proverbs 22:6).  We aspire to serve the family by providing Bible-based instruction and by preparing students to function as responsible Christian citizens.  Our goal is to see each child develop spiritually, academically, and physically into an individual whose life is pleasing to God.

The source from which all true knowledge proceeds is the Truth present in God's Word.  The Bible therefore, is at the core of our curriculum and methods (Colossians 2:23, 8).  Much of our curriculum material is published by A Beka Book publishing company.  A Beka Book has been providing Christian textbooks and curriculum materials to schools worldwide for more than two decades.  Of special note is the elementary reading program with its strong phonics base.

The classroom teacher is of profound importance in the life of the student.  Qualified, Spirit-filled, Bible believing teachers committed to the ministry of Christian education (Luke 6:40) make up the staff at Somerset Christian School.
